Student access must also be developmentally appropriate. Younger students may require teacher-mediated AI use, while older students can engage more directly—always with clear academic integrity expectations and digital citizenship instruction.
The responsibility of educators is not to shield students from AI. It is to prepare them to use it wisely.

Technology will continue to evolve faster than education policy. That reality is not new. What is new is the speed and scale of AI adoption.
