As I sit here reflecting on the most recent Dell Technologies World, I can’t help but feel excitement for what the year has to bring for this behemoth in the tech industry. From day one, Michael Dell made it clear that Dell EMC has laser focus on growing their global market share in the data center, and they are expecting just that in their Q1. Similarly, the Connection Dell EMC partnership mirrors this healthy growth, as we set our eyes on the second half of the year with joined goals.
Michael went on to elaborate that this feat couldn’t be achieved without the channel and their valuable partnerships. It was exciting to hear that Dell Technologies is investing heavily in new programs, incentives, and solutions designed to fast-track channel partners’ delivery of digital, IT, security, and workforce transformations for their customers. Enabling the channel to deliver comprehensive solutions through one unified portfolio will not only strengthen the bond Dell EMC has in the channel, but also provide the best possible customer experience.
Amongst all of the excitement in channel growth, many new products were announced. We learned about PowerMAX, a new VxBlock System, and Enhanced XtremIO—all of which promise to greatly improve the modern data center with new levels of performance and efficiency. A Dell EMC Ready Stack program was announced that offers a simplified way to build validated infrastructure stacks based on Dell EMC best-of-breed technologies. And finally, the Wyse 5070 was unveiled. This system is Dell EMC’s most versatile thin client, built on a scalable platform that enables organizations to select just the right configuration based on their employees’ needs.
This is a truly inspirational time to be a Titanium Partner in the Dell Technologies channel family. Do you want to learn more about the innovations unveiled at Dell Technologies World? We’re hosting a Live WebEx meeting with Connection experts who attended the event! Register now to get the scoop.
