In the last three months, coronavirus has moved from a distant health problem to a global pandemic. As of March 20, in the United States, the number of cases has grown to over ten thousand. To protect their employees from COVID-19 and to reduce the spread of the virus, organizations are moving their workforce rapidly to remote work. To support these efforts, Microsoft has announced their commitment to make Teams available for everyone.
With Teams and Microsoft Office 365, you can access shared documents and edit them in real time, allowing instant collaboration across Word, Excel, and other Microsoft programs. You can use Planner to create tasks to keep everyone on the same page. Teams acts as a hub for all of your uploaded files, which means they can be called up easily during any meeting without sending them through email or searching through your folders.
Many times, we work with vast number of different collaboration programs from meeting software to collaboration to task planning. With Office 365, you can execute all work and communication in the same platform, and thus enable your team to be more productive while they work from home.

If you have Office 365 in your organization you have Microsoft Teams. If you don’t have Teams because you don’t have Office 365 or the right version of Office 365, Microsoft has you covered by offering free trial version of Office 365 with Teams or just Teams.
Start Your Trial
Through Connection’s CSP program, Microsoft is offering a free six-month trial of Teams or free 6-months of Office 365 E1 with 1 Year Commitment to help you and your team continue to work and collaborate through a difficult time.
CSP Teams Trial and E1 Trial Comparison Chart :
While the six-month trial of Teams provides a quick solution to the need for remote collaboration, you can see above that Office 365 E1 includes additional benefits such as up to 3,000 users, 1TB of SharePoint online storage per license, and Exchange Online Plan 1—as well as an easier transition to a paid subscription once the trial ends. If you are looking for the E1 trial for over 3,000 users, you will have to go for the Office 365 E1 trial through a Microsoft representative.
If you are in education, you have the free Office 365 A1 available to you. You can procure Office 365 A1 suites through Connection’s CSP programs. Also check out my colleague Carrie’s post on the relevance of Office 365 A1 and Microsoft Teams amid the coronavirus to learn more. After the Trial
In six months when the trial ends, Connection will help you continue on with the paid version of Office 365 E1.
